The Mission at Nashotah

St Paul's was founded in 1856 by Gustaf Unonius and the Mission at Nashotah House. Our building, dating from 1900, is a memorial to Lewis Kemper, rector for twenty-five years and son of the first missionary bishop of the Episcopal Church, Jackson Kemper. It is made from split pink and grey granite stone taken from farm fields and is graced with beautiful stained glass windows.
